What a phenomenal afternoon we had at the 2023 Burton Hathow Owls Christmas Fete! Let’s take a sleigh ride back to that day of festive frolic and fun to relive the magic and joy.
Santa's Grotto: A Magical Highlight
One of the most enchanting features of our fete was the visit to Santa's Grotto. Stepping into the grotto was like entering a different realm, filled with twinkling lights, laughter, and the kind of Christmas magic that makes you believe you were in the North Pole. The excitement of the children meeting Santa and whispering their Christmas wishes was truly heartwarming.
Stalls That Stole the Show
Our array of stalls was a Christmas miracle in itself! The Jam Jars stand, brimming with homemade deliciousness, was a sweet hit. The wood carvings stand showcased incredible craftsmanship, turning wood into art. The Wine and Chocolate Tombola was a whirlwind of excitement, with everyone eager to try their luck for some festive indulgence.
Year 6's Stand: The Stars of the Show
Kudos to our fantastic Year 6 students, who raised over £90 at their stand! These young stars shone brightly with their entrepreneurial skills, adding so much to the festive spirit of the fete.
A Heartfelt Thanks to Our Outdoor Heroes and Raffle Revelers
A big, warm thank you to the brave souls who manned the outdoor stalls in the chilly weather. Your dedication and smiles were contagious and much appreciated.
And a round of applause for everyone who participated in the raffle. Your enthusiasm and generosity added an extra layer of excitement to the fete.
Raising Funds, Lifting Spirits
Together, we raised approximately £930.00 for our school's beloved owls, a feat that speaks volumes about the spirit of the Burton Hathow community.
